Crimson Pride highball
A celebration in every glass. This colorful highball uses Crimson Amaro's 19-botanical depth paired with fresh seasonal berries and soda for a bold, refreshing, and community-centered sip.
- Bittersweet
- Sparkling
- Vibrant
Ingredients
- 2 oz Crimson Amaro (Bittersweet and herbaceous with 19-botanical complexity)
- ½ oz wildflower honey syrup (equal parts honey and warm water)
- ½ oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 4 oz premium sparkling water or club soda
- 6–8 fresh seasonal berries (strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
Garnish: Skewered mixed berries, lime wheel, fresh mint sprig
Instructions
- Muddle the celebration: Place the fresh berries in the base of a tall highball glass. Muddle firmly but deliberately — you want the fruit to fully surrender its color and juice. The berries amplify Crimson Amaro's deep ruby hue, turning every glass into something worth raising.
- Build the foundation: Fill the glass with large ice cubes. Add the Crimson Amaro, honey syrup, lime juice, and aromatic bitters directly over the ice. The honey syrup softens the amaro's bitter edges while the lime juice sharpens the seasonal berry notes into focus. Stir gently, 4 to 5 rotations — enough to integrate, not enough to bruise the ice.
- The sparkling crown: Pour the sparkling water slowly down the inside edge of the glass in a single, steady pour. This preserves maximum carbonation and keeps the layers visually distinct — deep crimson at the base lifting to a bright, fizzing top. Do not stir after adding soda.
- Garnish with intention: Thread the skewered berries across the rim, tuck the mint sprig so its fragrance opens the sip, and add the lime wheel for a pop of color. The garnish here isn't decoration — it's a preview of every flavor in the glass.
- Serve immediately: Hand it over while the bubbles are still climbing. This is a drink made for people, for moments, for tables where everyone belongs. Sip with purpose.
